RegenOS is an idea first explored in this article by Pavel Luksha & Victor Vorski - the concept of an Operating System (OS) for Regeneration. In this context, regeneration ****is the process of restoring and enhancing the health of living systems—ecological, social, and economic—so that they become more resilient, abundant, and life-supporting over time.
Key insights from the article:
<aside>
- Regeneration requires both a cultural and technological transformation — one without the other will fail.
- The “operating system” for a regenerative society must bring together a new culture (values, language, relationships, events) and new software (collective intelligence, collaboration networks, organisation forms).
- The transition we need cannot come through violent revolution, but through evolution, exaptation and scaled change.
- Localized, bioregional pilots can serve as living laboratories for scaling regenerative models as can festivals.
- The AI wave provides unprecedented potential to accelerate adoption of regenerative behaviors.

The RegenOS concept was further developed by attendees at The Gathering in Czechia in August 2025. It has evolved into a meme that encompasses the following ideas:
<aside>
- RegenOS is where consciousness development and technological development weave together. Storytelling is a key component of the operating system. Core values: transparency (“build-in-public”), relational trust, embodied wisdom, coherence>alignment.
- There is an ecosystem of existing and emergent digital tools and platforms within the “Regen Movement”. Learn more here about the definition of “the Regen Movement” and the Ever-Expanding map of projects. [note: need to build these out]
- This digital infrastructure is built by values-aligned players and groups, designed with principles of regeneration, biomimicry and systems-change thinking baked into the tools and platforms themselves.
- Most of the tools are currently “siloed” with limited interaction due to technical (”backend”) interoperability challenges. The Question arose: what could happen if these separate but often overlapping efforts could begin to truly cooperate and interoperate? What would happen if we start to organize as an ecosystem?
- There is now momentum to weave these powerful platforms into a technological superorganism: the RegenOS. Together, these tools are much greater than the sum of their parts. the power to rapidly and exponentially accelerate the network effect and power of the Regen movement’s goal: to co-create a culture of planetary flourishing.

What does RegenOS look like, practically speaking?
- The first experiment arises out of the Czechia Gathering, a first Holon or “Venture Family” of six projects have committed to mutual support and cooperation, with the intention to move towards interoperability and collective fundraising.
- Learn more about the first RegenOS Venture Family here.
- The second experiment is the RegenOS Summit Series (September 2025 - January 2026) a self-organizing event series co-created to amplify the coherence and momentum from the Czechia Gathering.
- The purpose is to invite more players and projects, who are already networked together through past and current professional projects and personal connections, into shared stewardship of the RegenOS.
- The intention of this series is to create coherence, weave a shared story, discover opportunities for collaboration, tech interoperability, and collective funding. Learn more here: RegenOS Summit Series
